July 4th holiday, Svend's parents came into town for a few days. First we hit up the parade!

Rides! I didn't get any of the big kids because they were off with Svend and Grandpa doing the big kid rides. Brooklyn and Tabitha have a need for speed!
Tabitha was SO excited to go on the dragon roller coaster. She could hardly stand it!
This was just before they took off. The rest of the time she looked TERRIFIED so I just clapped and gave lots of thumbs up every time she came around. Each time it started to climb she would look at me like "AGAIN?!" Of course when it was all over she jumped up and down screaming "that was totally AWESOME!"

The kids have "adopted" our neighbor's dog. Tally has been babysitting it everyday...taking it for walks, giving it water, cuddling, etc. Brooklyn HATES the dog (hence the face).

Tabitha is OBSESSED with Doc McStuffins. Hopefully we can fulfill some of her desires for her birthday, but for now she has successfully recruited Brooklyn to being a helper with the animals. The other day they played in their room together like this for a good hour. It was HEAVEN!
At the beginning of the summer, rather than do sports for $500, we chose to just purchase an aquatic center pass. We live within walking distance so it has been completely worth it! The kids all love it and I love that they have a fenced in baby pool with a slide where the little girls and I hang out most of the time :)
Tabitha is our only child that hasn't held her nose to go under water. Totally shocking! Bergen has learned to swim this summer...at least enough to ride the slides and save his life if he fell in. HUGE accomplishment. Talia has enjoyed doing all the slides and whirlpools as well.

Svend and Bergen went golfing the other day. Every weekend for the past 4 months Svend says "I should have gone golfing today..." So, when he said it on Wednesday (no work) I said "Just GO so we don't have to hear it anymore!" hehe. He jumped up, grabbed Bergen and they took off. The girls (Tabitha especially) were disappointed. Tabitha LOVES golfing. We took the kids to the driving range for FHE a few weeks ago and every time we drive by she BEGS to go again. Anyway, so I thought we could do makeovers. They love makeup and nail polish...so that's what we did :)
Tabitha then had to do me of course... it was... interesting ;) she also INSISTED on painting my nails. One hand pink the other purple...silly girl! Love my girls. They are beautiful!
Just a few more days left of July...then it's on to Baby month. The kids are all very excited for their new baby brother :)
