So GRATEFUL

As you all know we started out the year with some pretty FREAKY news about Bergen. I was told ( BY MYSELF) that Bergen's skull was DETERIORATING! That day was absolutely the WORST day I could imagine. We have been so blessed--after that COMPLETE MISDIAGNOSIS!!!!!! The hole in Bergen's head will probably never close. It hasn't changed in size or shape over the course of these past 10 months. This last week, the day before Thanksgiving, we took him to his followup ready to be told when his surgery would be (the one where they CUT OPEN MY BABY'S HEAD!!!)...but instead the Dr. told us there would be NO SURGERY---EVER!!!!!!!! He said we shouldn't worry about him getting hurt or not playing sports or anything-just to let him live a normal life but to keep an eye on it...just in case it does change. Svend and I are so relieved. We are so grateful that our prayers have been answered. In our minds this is a miracle.
yes..he does still have to get his tonsils out :( but that's not a major operation...and we already got him a surprise transformer for when he wakes up! :)
