Wow! He Did It!!
Pics to come...Yesterday was Svend's White Coat Ceremony. Basically it's a "Rite of Passage" and that they get before heading off to do clinics. The cool and different thing they do here at Scholls, is they have it before the second year of school rather than at the beginning of the first year like everyone school. Why is it cool? Because it shows a sense of accomplishment. He did it! He went through his first year and made it through the grueling workload of classes. He went to school every day after sleepless nights with studying and kids. He passed each of his classes the 1st time. He worked his "buns" off (we don't say that other word in our house:) So, CONGRATULATIONS SVEND!!! You passed one of many milestones! 3 MORE YEARS! (and then residency which is 3 more years...but we're just taking one at a time:)

Congrats! We had our white coat at the beginning of first year, but I like this idea. YEAH FOR STARTING SECOND YEAR! We are in the same boat and it is so exciting to be progressing!

Congrats to the Bjorns! It's funny that neither Marc or I have ever met an actual poditrist but we know of three friends going to school to become one. :) Brooke
