Svend's special day (and the weekend's events)

As you all know, this last weekend was Svend's whitecoat ceromony (see below post). The Bjorn's came in to town to witness it as well. The kids were excited to see Gran-papa, as Tally calls them together), but unfortunately both were still pretty sick from their bout with HFMD (see below post). Tally was just beginning to talk again and pretty hard to understand and Bergen was right in the middle of it-YUCK--so screaming, drooling, etc. Here's a picture of my skinny boy after a week of not eating anything! Poor kid! (I guess he's still pretty big for 20months...those are size 5 diapers...but skinny!) Friday @ 12 was Svends White Coat. Here we are! Doesn't he look smart--er? OKay, so my camera battery was dieing and chose all of his "walking" pics to poop out on...so his eyes look a little "freaky" here. Here's Tally and Daddy at the "big foot." On Saturday, the kids were feeling better and Bergen still couldn't eat, but was atleast starting to perk up a bit, so we headed to Navy Pier in Chicago. Here's Bergen at the fountain! We were ALL drenched by the end (thanks hun!) Here's the view from Navy Pier. And finally, a picture of just us! How rare! On Sunday night, the kids were noticably feeling better and the guys headed off to Priesthood meeting. The kids LOVED wresling grandma!The Bjorns left on Monday. We had a great weekend with them and glad they could come up.
