Texas...

This is the REASON we went to Texas :) Uncle Jordan aka LC Hopewell will be in Afganistan shortly. We went to see him off and spend some time with him :) Since EVERYONE was sick, we went to the bounce house. The kids had a BLAST playing with their favorite superhero!

The weather was WONDERFUL!!!!! I think Tabitha enjoyed being able to play outside without any "gear" on :)

Jordan's soon to be in-laws through an engagement party for him and his fiance. Here he is with the youngest nephew -such a CUTIE!!!

We also went to the temple. The kids LOVE the temple and beg nearly every week. They were so happy to walk the grounds and enjoy the short time there.

Even Tabitha knew it was a special place.

We took the kids to the zoo with most of their cousins. It was really neat to actually be so close to some of the animals!

Grandpa took us to a fun place where the kids got to ride go-carts and bumper boats. It was hilarious b/c Bergen was soooo slow and careful and Tally was like a mad woman--bringing out her inner cruel-a-de-vil! :)

We had a wonderful time with family--once everyone was healthy enough to actually get together! Love my family and love the great time we always have when we're together. Proud of my little brother and the choices he's made. Keep him (and all military) in your prayers! :)

While we were there we had Match day for residencies. Svend didn't match--which is always a possiblity and has been sending out applications. After many prayers and a family fast, we have some great hope :) We know we'll look back at this stressful time and see all the wonderful things the Lord blessed us with. We are grateful we have the gospel in our lives.
