What we've been up to... and pictures to prove it.

If Tally asks about 1 hour before bed to play a game, we do. This usually is her favorite of Hide and Go Seek in the Dark. We have to play in the dark...since you can see the entirety of our apartment from our bedroom. Anyways, the kids and I could NOT find Svend anywhere b/c the only one who can fit in cupboards in Tally ... and we just didn't think to look here. Bergen thought this was a pretty good place to hide and would NOT hide any where else--until he was finished with this spot. Tally is never without friends. Seriously. She finds them everywhere--so it's no doubt that she's been invited to a lot of kid's b-day parties. This one was GREAT! It was at the fire department--which I HIGHLY recommend. Since nearly every kid is scared of firemen, Fireman Chris put on each piece of equipment one at a time -explaining everything and how he'd look and sound BEFORE putting it on. The kids were NOT scared of him at all--AMAZING--and GOOD!
Since the weather is FINALLY starting to be good to us, we've been able to go for bike rides and play out on the patio. Bergen refuses to let me push the bike my parents got for him...and instead scoots along with is feet. He just wants to be independent! Also, he likes to take stops at rocks. The other day he "befriended" a rock and played on the playground with it for about 30 min! Also...of course, his cute "cheese" face! (don't mind the finger print in the middle-oops!) Easter was good. The kids LOVED seeing the eggs change colors in the dye. The Easter bunny brought them 95% discount toys from KBtoys going out of business--SWEET! And, we just made up easter outfits this year. Much to Tally's disappointment, she didn't get a new dress. But she still looked cute! And finally, last night was a family fun night with our park district. They had every type of truck you can imagine for the kids to sit on, climb in, push the horns/sirens, etc!

Tally was soooooo excited to finally see her kite make it high into the air! way to go DORA!!!
The END!
