If you're ready for the marathon post, enjoy--or just take a look at the pictures! Christmas has begun! WAHOO!!! We've been listening to songs like crazy and just enjoying the Christmas Moments we have. It's fun this year because Tally is grasping WHY we celebrate Christmas. She knows the "holy family" and how Jesus was born in a "stranger" because aparently that's a better word than "manger". Anyways, she's also learning about giving... I took her shopping for Svend and Bergen last week and she had a difficult time picking things out that we SPECIFICALLY for the other person...she really wanted to get things that she'd enjoy "sharing" with the family. Anyways, here goes on the post:I made HOMEMADE LASAGNA last week-- seriously (except the noodles). Anyways, it started because I was too lazy to go to the store (something about wrestling three kids...) and pick up the pasta sauce... so here it is "heart attack on a plate"-- really... pepperoni, sausage, beef, olives, celery, onions, and tomatoes. It was SOO good--and oddly, SWEET!
This just cracks me up--the age we live in...two kids under two with COMPUTERS! Lexi brought her's to play with (the pink one) and the kids made a switch (Bergen's fav. color is pink!)
Here is our "Manna from Heaven." Our RS Pres called and asked if we wanted some bread. She'd ended up with seriously a VAN FULL--so we got some and I was able to teach Tally about the bread from God. She thought that was pretty cool--especially when you poke it with a stick and pretend it's a lollipop!
We had our ward Christmas party and Bergen LOVED SANTA (actually gave him a hug!) but the real reason he loved Santa is for the CANDY CANES! He ate 4 (BIG ONES) ...yeah, sugar junkie--I know... :)
We made a ginger bread house (first time!) and my little Sugar junkie was pretty sneaky... Here he is pretending to play with the toaster oven...
But I knew what he was REALLY Doing!
Just so you can see all the
pretty sweaters!
