Anyways, so now he has ....drum role please.... 2 ear infections, 1 high fever, 1/2 a molor breaking through, and a body full of eeecczzzeeeemmmmaa! Helps if you sing it to 12 days of Christmas! haha! We love you Bergen, but man, it's getting old! :)

Hey if that is excema or however you spell it... STOP using baby shampoo and soap. My sister is an estitation and had us do it when Isa got it and it helped clear it up a lot faster. If you see the doctor they can percribe a cream that is pretty cheap that helps a lot. Let me know if you need the name of it and I can pull out our jug. Also if you switch to ALL fabric detergent and liquid fabric softener that helps out a ton. Use dove or caress to wash him up. I hope that helps! It does get better. Isa had it for about 6 months and it finally went away.

Ug. Ryley had eczema too. I think it was mostly due to milk. I switched him to Silk (vanilla flavored soy milk) until he was about 2. That helped a ton. He didn't get eczema until I moved him to whole milk. When I switched him to Silk and made sure I put good lotion on him after EVERY bath and EVERY day it cleared up quick. I use Aveeno Baby lotion - not Johnson's and Johnson's or anything else. It really moisturizes well. I never changed soaps, but that might totally help you. I did make sure that I washed all his clothes in ALL Free and Clear (like Dreft but TONS cheaper!) If it's not bothering him (itching) then I wouldn't worry about taking him to the doctor. It's not going to scar him for life or anything - unless it's really itchy and he's scratching too much. Well, I hope he does have eczema because it's really not that big of a deal. As for the ear infections, ug. Poor baby! Ryley had lots of ear infections back to back. The doctor suggested tubes too, but I refused to do that. I asked him to give him some antibiotic shots first. They were a little expensive (about $60-$90 a shot and he needed three) and painful but it was WAAAAAY better than tubes. I remember Taylor getting tubes when he was little and it was the worst experience ever - mostly because of the anesthesia. You never know how they will respond and they're too little to communicate any problems with you. I'd ask the doctor about the shots before anything else. I hope you guys are doing o.k. except for all the sickness! Sorry this is so long!

yup, I was going to say check for food allergies. I knew a kid who couldn't eat anything red! Milk is always a big culprit. Maybe that's the ear infections? When the mucus doesn't drain (too thick) it can get infected by any number of germs! Sorry he is sick again! have you tried any supplements to strengthen you and yours, immune system? I'm glad Ryley didn't get the tubes, Way to go, Jeni!
