For the Kids

Don't worry, this may be pre-cooked cold chili...but the meat hasn't been added yet!

So...since we have a baby who can't walk YET (and hopefully not for a while), we are indoors most of the day so he can actually play and sleep. So...for Tally that pretty much STINKS! Anyways, since she was about 14 months, I 've been letting her help me cook. Not anything hot, but like mixing and adding ingredients to cookies, bread, crockpots, rice cookers, etc. Anyways, she LOVES this and I think it's pretty good (motor skills, directions, not to mention the tasting!). Also, another thing I did was, the last time I bought makeup, YES, I BOUGHT MAKEUP!!!! (first time in about 3 years!!!), I bought CLEAR maskara. It's actually really cool and doesn't leave the nasty clumpy spidery look AND, since Tally LOVES makeup, she can actually do it herself and not look beat up(not that we want to teach THAT too early-haha). Anyways, just a few ideas, things I'm learning to let Tally do, that I thought I'd share!
