Well everything's been great while in Texas! I've got to hang out with each of my siblings at least once and get to play with their kids. Tally was a little shy of her cousins at first but since then has been right in the middle of everything! She loves "ma-ma" and "pa-pa" and "tunkadin" aka Uncle Jordan! She has especially fallen in love with their dog, Snowy, and is now chasing her around the house rubbing her hair in snowy's face as Snowy frantically tries to escape! It's really quite funny.
After two days my parents left me to watch Jordan and my cousin Austin while they went to Utah to buy an RV...yes! My parents are beginning to dream of retirement! Dad lost his job a few weeks ago but has since had several interviews that look promising.
Today my worst fears came true...as I sat feeding Bergen, Tally was playing on the stairs and suddenly began rolling down! All I could do was watch and as she got closer to the bottom, I threw Bergen on the floor and ran to catch my baby. I think I put my hand under her head just as it hit the ground! She was okay thankfully but I was crying along with her. I've never been so scared in my life about my children! Then, to top it off, she was asleep on my parents bed and fell off--about 3 1/2 feet! I think she's about done here! :)
Svend leaves for Cleveland tomorrow. So far interviews have been good. He's definitly on the alternate list for Des Moines, and if he doesn't make it in, they'll give him a $3,000 scholorship to go next year...so we'll see what happens. He still has chicago and cleveland to hear back from. Anyways, there's life so far--here's some pics of the kids!

I'm glad you are having fun! How long will you be here? I wish I was in Allen and it was easier to come see you!
I'm sorry about Tally. I would've cried too! Kathryn has had 2 tumbles down stairs and I am still terrified every time that it will happen again (because we don't have stairs for her to practice on and get used to!). I'm glad she was okay though!!
How scary...I'm glad she's alright! That happened to Ben about a month ago in our new house, but thankfully he somehow stopped himself half-way down the stairs and didn't hit the tile floor below. I think he was more scared than hurt and we were both crying too. It's a horrible feeling to see your child in danger and not really be able to do anything about it.
It was good to be able to see you and your cute kids...finally, even for the short time that it was. Maybe next time I see you Bergen will actually be awake and interactive :)
